My hair is at most 3 inches long. Is it possible to blow dry it straight?

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

i have curly hair , but its long so i use a straightenign iron . but shampoo and condition with herbal essence " dangerously straight" it will help you hair move in a fine line and smooth and revive your hair. after shampooing and conditioning , take a brush NOT A TOOTH COMB and blow dry it . if you want seriouly straight hair you dangerouly straight mouse before you blowdry thats if you want maxium results. well good luck !

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

you need a straigtening iron. yes even short hair needs it

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

yeah. Just wash it really good. And then go over it with a blow dryer until its as straight as you want it. Good luck!

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

not like...w/ a hairdryer. try using a straight iron.

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

hm, you could try. you have a run a comb through it while your blow drying.

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

Well i'll give you advice from a gurl, why do you want to straighten your hair. When dudes have curley hair they're hot!!!!!

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

What you need to do is use a coarse brush and pull on it while blow drying on it. Of course a flat iron works really well ike the wee chi or the .7" turbo chi =]

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

Get Biosilk and get a hairdryer and curler all in one. It looks like a round barrell. It won't curl your hair but it blow drys and creates heat which touches your hair on contact. Easier than brush and hairdryer. So instead of two items in hair you have 2 in 1 deal.

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

Get a hair straightner...

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

yes, get a small brush and as you pull through your hair straight with one hand use the other to blow dry.... keep doing this to small sections until its all straight. also there is blow dryers that have brushes attached to them so you can do it all in one motion.

Good luck.

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

possibly, but as a female, i use a flat iron to make my hair straight. if you are really wanting straight hair you can do one of two things .... see a stylist for a professional hair straightening, the other option is to buy a ladies perm kit and just apply the curling lotion ... once you have applied it, continue to comb your hair 'straight'. the lotion will relax your hair but you have to keep doing it for the time mentioned on the box. my honest opinion ... have it done professionally!

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

yah... if you take a like a brush and comb it straight as you are blow dryn it. that should work.

if you want my opinion if your a guy don't try to hard to hard to make your hair look good. I meen take care of it... but if it looks to girly... girls don't like it.

How can I blow dry my hair straight?

take a comb with very close teeth and put the hair dryer on as low as u possibly can and put a defuser or concentrator on it. Then blow dry your hair! ez as that also asking a professional hair stylest will also help they can sell u products to help with the straightening like straightening cream for before u blow dry it there ya go ; }
Yamahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00269688103259540487noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989343459317043225.post-84265884839996126822010-06-20T06:36:00.000-07:002010-06-20T06:36:24.752-07:00Something to help dry hair?
My hair is dry only near the ends, and I have no split ends. Dull hair is not shiny hair so usually when your hair is dry it is dull. Lifeless hair is usually oily and pretty much stuck to your head. Lifeless hair is thin and you cant really do anything with it. There are treatments for each of these problems but your right, you have to identify what your hair problem is first.
Yamahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00269688103259540487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989343459317043225.post-88722023594999492932010-06-20T06:35:00.000-07:002010-06-20T06:35:22.584-07:00Why does salt water dry your hair?
when i was younger my hair was really nice, but when i started swimming in the beach my hair became dry.

Why does salt water dry your hair?

Because of the salt. You could get one of those special towels for wrapping your wet hair in out of the shower. The material soaks up the water out of your hair and then hair air dries quicker. A wet-dry flat iron would work, but it's likely do more damage than a blow dryer.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

It does, but if your dong that always use a heat daamge spray on ur hair and it will protect ur hair from having dry ugly hair!! I think everyone does that...and make sure you use teh perfect shampoo and condis aswell.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

let it air dry

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

The best you can do is wait it out. As soon as you get out of the shower, squeeze your hair to get the majority of the moisture out. Run a comb through your hair, and then towel-dry it. That'll leave it slightly damp. If possible, go outside and wait in the sun. Every minute or so, comb your hair to make sure it dries evenly.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

You can towel dry it, go outside in the heat. It drys quicker outside. Other than that I don't think there is. Some hair straigteners dry and stragiten at the same time.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

It's called air drying... towel dry your hair, spray on a protectant spray and comb it into the style you want then let the air dry it.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

oh yes, use your towel and dry the much you can. then allow the air to do the rest.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

You could try what my hairstylist does. After washing he applies hair products, combs through, and then I Pre-

dry under the hair dryer (the kind you sit under), for about 20 minutes. Then he'll blow dry. It may take longer but the damage isn't being done to the hair because the actual blow drying time is shorter.

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

Obviously you could air dry it, but you could try using a fan. The wind being blasted at you is cold, so no heat damage. But dont get too close and be careful. You dont want your hair to get caught in it!

You could also blowdry your hair using cool instead of warm/hot.

Most hairdryers have that option of cool air.

Good luck!

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

I usually wrap my hair in a towel for 10 minutes, so its not as wet, and the towel absorbs the water, then comb it out and air dry it! Hope this helps!

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

run....or dance around and let air pass through it :) :)

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

towel dry

Is there a way to dry your hair without blowdrying it?

just use a towel
Yamahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00269688103259540487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989343459317043225.post-63307425985955220212010-06-20T06:34:00.000-07:002010-06-20T06:34:18.194-07:00How to make my hair look healthy and not dry?
I tried all kinds of dry %26amp; damaged hair products I have cut my hair and trimmed it and it still looks very dry. The recommended time for the mayonnaise treatment is an hour.

Spray the beer: If you do not get any relief from using the mayonnaise, you can use beer as a good setting lotion that gives your hair the crisp, healthy and shiny look. You can pour some beer into an empty pump bottle and spray on the hair after shampooing and towel dry. Then you can style or blow-dry the hair.

Shampoo minimally: choose a shampoo for dry, damaged hair.

Condition your hair: Conditioner glues cuticles back to the shaft and lubricates them. It also prevents static electricity, thus preventing its frizzy appearance.

Cut off the split ends: Every six weeks or so

I have prob with my hair... very dry.. i use all the shampoo , conditioner. and live in conditioner,, i oil my

Nisoral. U just apply fresh coconut milk on your hair and massage it well, then leave on overnight , rinse it well in the morning and it'll be so soft and shiny. Plus it's all natural, no chemicals to dry and damage your hair. And I've found out it also helps in lessing hair fall. You can use it as often as you like.

Also, try using Swallow Avocado Oil shampoo and conditioner. I'm not sure if it's available in Australia but if it wasnt try to find hair products with avocado oil because it's super moisturizing, it's so wonderful and effective.

And lastly, avoid using too much hair polish coz most of them tend to dry hair.

I hope my suggestions will help, have a good day!

I have prob with my hair... very dry.. i use all the shampoo , conditioner. and live in conditioner,, i oil my

Dove worked for me.... Even then, the only thing that's alive about hair, is the root. Once you've damaged it, there are products that can smooth the shaft, sort of like moisturizer for dry skin, but once the product washes out the hair is the same.

If you really want it healthy again, as in, undamaged, you'll have to let it grow out without coloring it. Get the dry ends cut off, then decide what you want to do. I'd talk to your salon about a coloring method that would be more gentle.

I'd recommend Aquage color protecting shampoo and conditioner.

How to get rid of dry brittle hair?

Try not drying your hair for awhile. Yes or No and Why????

When using a diffuser what products do you guys use on your hair( leave in, gel, spray)

When the hair is dry does it get poofy???

Are the curls well defined after using the difusser or not really???

Please only answer this question if you in fact have used a diffuser and knows is the product is good or not.

Girls With Curly Hair, Have you Girls Used A Diffuser To Dry Yout Hair???

I'd definitely recommend a diffuser. I always use a diffuser to dry my hair. It gives it a lot more volume at the roots. If you use good products, it shouldn't go frizzy or "poofy".

After you shower, lightly towel dry your hair and use a small amount of John Frieda Frizz ease throughout your hair. Put a good quality mousse on your hair, not too much, just enough so you can feel it on your hair. I use Wella High Hair, which can only be bought in salons in the UK... but it's worth trying a few to see which you prefer.

Dry it for about 10-15mins on a medium heat, medium power, concentrating on a section for a minute or two at a time. I then put a tiny bit of hair spray on when I'm done.

My friend seperates hers into section, about 8, and twists them, then dries them in the diffuser as they are twisted. This gives more ringlet-like curls. But the same before and after procedure applies.

Curly hair breaks more easily than straight, so make sure you take good care of it and get it trimmed regularly. This will reduce how frizzy your hair is.

Hope this helps.

Girls With Curly Hair, Have you Girls Used A Diffuser To Dry Yout Hair???

I have naturally curly hair and I've used a diffuser before, but to be honest, if you blow dry your hair on low heat and low setting, while scrunching your hair, and you don't blow dry it until it's all the way dry, you really don't need a diffuser. I could see no difference as far as curl pattern or frizz. The trick is not to blow dry on high heat or the high setting because then you are blowing the hair all over and it will frizz and get "poofy". I use Curl Rocks by TIGI...shampoo, conditioner, leave in moisturizer, curl booster and gel. These products are available at your local beauty supply.

Girls With Curly Hair, Have you Girls Used A Diffuser To Dry Yout Hair???

Well what really works for me is shower, straiten, brush, curl, Blow dry and you look perfect. if it doesn't work ring me up at

tboyluvsbball@yahoo.com
Yamahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00269688103259540487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989343459317043225.post-46536394665310802822010-06-20T06:30:00.001-07:002010-06-20T06:30:37.267-07:00How to get rid of dry/frizzy like hair?
My hair is pretty frizzy, no matter what i do..so what can i do to stop it! i have tried creams,products..and none of them seem to work. Are there any ways to get rid of dry hair without spending all that money that i go through!'

And I do straighten my hair..but barely ever..and i dont blowdry.. I think it may be the humidity or something like that but is there anything i can do so that my hair stays shiny and smooth?

Thankss.

Bye.

How to get rid of dry/frizzy like hair?

Change your diet to include more fresh vegetables and fruits and organic fruit juices. Drink 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day. Do this forever. Most people do not realize, but almost everything that effects the human body is caused by a crappy diet. Cut out junk foods and sodas especially. Both of these things will screw up your internal systems so that at any time in the near future your body will begin to shut down in certain areas. And I know you don't want that to happen. Stay healthy, stay beautiful. stay young.

How to get rid of dry/frizzy like hair?

You need to use some type of silicone shine serum before you blow dry. I have thick, coarse, color treated hair that frizzes up constantly and the only thing that has ever worked is a silicone serum. I prefer BIOSILK or Jonathan Beverly Hills serums. They are priced higher than stuff you would find at a drug store, but you only need to use a small amount (like a pea sized drop) because a little goes a long way. It's really worth the investment. These products coat the hair shaft, add softness and shine and resist humidity. Also, if you use a flat iron, you NEED to use some form of heat protectant spray the keep your hair from becoming damaged - which will only make it more dry and frizzy. Good luck and happy styling = )
Yamahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00269688103259540487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989343459317043225.post-81330679912789981212010-06-20T06:30:00.000-07:002010-06-20T06:30:06.224-07:00My hair is naturally wavy and i can never get the waves to stay,if i dry my hair it will become stra
my hair has a natural kink. when u see celebrities with big and extremely loose waves that is how my hair is but when i dry it i have to brush it and then it becomes straight. when i brush my hair in general the waves go away. is there something i can do or use to make my hair its natural way and stay like that all day long?

My hair is naturally wavy and i can never get the waves to stay,if i dry my hair it will become straight.?

okay girl listen to me. since you have wavy hair you should NOT brush your hair k? just after you take a shower and its wet, brush your hair, but after that do NOT brush it because your wavyness will go away. you can either a.) let your hair air dry and apply moose (i suggest herbal essence or fructis) and scrunch or b.) you can dry your hair without a brush a bit and then apply moose and SCRUNCH!

My hair is naturally wavy and i can never get the waves to stay,if i dry my hair it will become straight.?

use moose and gel and scrunch it. do not brush it after you scrunch it

My hair is naturally wavy and i can never get the waves to stay,if i dry my hair it will become straight.?

don't brush it after you've blow dried it. use gel to scrunch it. then add some hair spray to make sure it will last.

My hair is naturally wavy and i can never get the waves to stay,if i dry my hair it will become straight.?

First don't brush your hair. When I blow dry it, it gets GIANT (believe me, it literally poofs about 9 inches to a foot off my head! ). How can I prevent this?? I dont always have 2 hours to flat iron it. Do I just frizz creme and a round brush or something? WHAT DO I DO?!?!

How can I blow dry my hair without looking like I'm from the 80s?!?!?

First don't flip your hair upside down and blow dry! That gives it volume which you don't need. Try a round brush or even a regular brush, blow your hair under not out. Frizz cream can help too just don't use too much otherwise it will get oily looking. If you want to do a curly style, add some moose or gel and blow dry on low. I hope this helps if you need anything else just ask!

How can I blow dry my hair without looking like I'm from the 80s?!?!?

Do not brush it. What you want to do is condition real good. Let your hair grow. Cut the dead ends off. Don't use a curling iron or blow drier on it. That stuff kills your hair. Don't die it eather. Just let it grow.

What brand of hair products work best with dry damaged hair?

Don't believe the hype. Pantene Pro-V and other products advertizing that they nourish hair with vitamins, are full of it. Your hair is actually dead, so putting vitamins in it does nada. I have super dry hair as well and the BEST product I've found is Phyto. It's a brand of hair care lines, you can only find it at places like Sally's and other salons. It's not available at drugstores as far as I know. It's a lil more pricey, but it's definitely worth it. Also, my hair send to get fried if I don't get it trimmed once every two months. It actually gets so bad that the end break off so my hair doesn't grow. I try not to use color treatment, and avoid Suave products, because it's like putting clorox in your hair! Yuck! Blow drying is bad for it, but suprisingly, when you towel dry your hair too roughly, that's even worse for it! Just set your dryer at a lower setting, for healthier results. Also when you comb out tangled hair, start at the tips and work your way up for less breakage. You can also spray leave in conditioner in your hair in the morning. It keeps flyaways down, and protects your hair from the elements. Try not to wash your hair everyday if you can get away with it also. These are the tips I use everyday, and I've really noticed a difference; I hope these help you! As far as split ends, there's really no way around getting rid of them without cutting them. Make sure you're not using over the counter stuff to shampoo and condition your hair. Anything like pantene and suave have waxy derivitives and will coat your hair and make it split more. It's worth it in the end.

2.) Buy a good deep conditioner from the salon. Buy some plastic caps like you use in the shower to keep your hair from getting wet. Wash your hair at night and sleep with the conditioner and the bag over it overnight. Or if your laying out to get a tan slap the conditioner in your hair, both are good ways to deep condition it. Eventually you'll have to get it cut. My advice is to go in every 4-6 weeks or so and ask them to take off 1/4 inch. The hair usually grows 1/2 inch a month so your not taking much off. Ask them to show you what their 1/4 inch looks like before they cut, that way you both know what you're getting to avoid any confusion. Most combs that are used have measurements on them to make it easier.

My hair is kind of damaged from dying it alot, plus its dry from over striaghtning it. but i stoped both......

i use aussie 3 minute miracle in the shower and i use neutrogena triple moisture hair serum after i get out of the shower. But my hairs thick and curly so it doesnt really show without straightening it.

My hair is kind of damaged from dying it alot, plus its dry from over striaghtning it. but i stoped both......

You HAVE to cut your hair to get rid of the split ends, otherwise, they will just get worse. Try a deep conditioning treatment to help with the dryness.
Yamahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00269688103259540487noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6989343459317043225.post-30783290410190050522010-06-20T06:27:00.000-07:002010-06-20T06:27:25.784-07:00How are those Wet to Dry hair stylers?
do they damage your hair? does your hair come out with a smooth finish? When i blow dry my hair it loses its style with in a few hours. So another heating element such as a curling iron or straightener is needed. If they are worth it, can anyone recommend one?

How are those Wet to Dry hair stylers?

I gave both of my daughters the new wet dry straigtner by Revlon for Christmas. They use it every day and their hair is beautiful and shiny. I have not seen any evidence of damage and when they get layers their hairstylist says there are very little split ends.

How are those Wet to Dry hair stylers?

auwfull and cause dry damaged locks to give your hair more style try applying some volume mouse when your hair is wet this will help you style more easily. It has a setting to use on wet hair and a separate one to use on dry hair and a heat setting as well. Contrary to what alot of people say around here, it does not damage hair any more using it wet than using any other heated hair appliance. I got it at walmart for about $20. Any advice?

Thank you very much!

Any help with my dry hair?

I would suggest using cholesterol.

The reason i suggest this is because cholesterol is low in fragrances and added chemicals and colors, which will make it less likely to irritate your scalp.

It also has proteins and vitamins which alot of the time dry and damaged hair does not, but should. It will help promote healthy hair growth, make your hair seem thicker and will moisturize and shine.

In your bath after shampooing your hair, towel dry your hair a little bit then apply the cholesterol from your scalp to the ends of your hair.

Keep it in for about five minutes then wash out.

You don't have to do this every night but about two or three times a week and you can cut back to once a week or even twice a month after you begin to see improvements in your hair.

Any help with my dry hair?

I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD SEE A SKIN SPECIALIST.

Any help with my dry hair?

HEAD AND SHOULDERS!! it helps

scalp adn hair

Any help with my dry hair?

use mayonaisse, but of course be sure to wash it all out.LOL Let it sit in your hair just as you would conditioner.

Any help with my dry hair?

Use a moisturizing shampoo and a very good, thick conditioner. I can't stress the importance of conditioner--especially with dry hair.

Do you put anything else on your head that might irritate it?

Any help with my dry hair?

I have used olive oil it works. (it kinda washes the moisture back out). OH! I forgot.. aveda has hair care products for dry-damaged hair.. they have shampoo/conditioner and the leave-in is very water based. You can buy aveda products online or go to a salon that sells aveda. Dont use the walmart products. If her hair is falling out and thinning.. some suggested Nioxin.. but int his case her hair is falling out b/c its damaged.. the needs to use a treatment.. like some of the ones i mentioned. When I went to a salon they used Alter Ego in my hair for treatment and Almond oil as a hot oil treatment. The heat penetrates the moisture into your hair. There are many diff types of treatments you can use especifically for damaged hair, you just have to pick out which one you would like to use

My wife hair is dry and is breaking off.?

olive oil

My wife hair is dry and is breaking off.?

http://www.regissalons.com/designline/im... this will make her hair shine and strong.

My wife hair is dry and is breaking off.?

The best thing to do is start at the scalp. Try daily massages to the scalp with olive oil before she washes. Then I would wash with shampoo and conditioner made for very dry hair. Biolage is a very good line. It's expensive but it works and it's sold in salons. She should also take a multi vitamin and a hair skin and nails vitamin daily while drinking plenty of water. Also, she may want to follow up with a leave in conditioner. Make sure to massage the scalp while putting it on. Never use very hot water either. Try to rinse in the coldest water possible. This will close the hair follicles to reduce daily damage. Get hair trims religiously. At least every 4-6 weeks and find a stylist that she can trust. Also, improving her protein intake might help a bit too. Diet will change the hair too.

My wife hair is dry and is breaking off.?

check the links below for natural homemade beauty tips to:-- Dry hair / Oily hair/ Splitends / Fruit Packs for scalp

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2006/08/natur...

My wife hair is dry and is breaking off.?

She should try a lace front wig to let her hair rest while doing deep conditioning treatments on her natural hair.
