Shampoo for dry , thin hair?

i have very fine dry hair, and i do color it often . What is a good SALON used shampoo and conditioner to use for my hair? what do you recommend?

Shampoo for dry , thin hair?

Joico makes very good shampoos %26amp; conditioners. My favorite item is their K-Pak conditioner. It can be used every day or as a deep conditioning mask.

Here's the link to their web page: http://joico.com/index.php

Since you have fine hair, you probably want one of their shampoos that promote volume %26amp; the spray on leave in conditioner.

NIOXIN. It is best for thin or thinning hair. It stimulates your scalp to promote healthy hair growth. It is expensive though.

Coming from someone who also has very fine and very dry hair, I would recommend you try Pantene Relaxed %26amp; Natural. It helps with the dryness but even though it has oil in it, it doesn't weigh my hair down.

I don't recommend salon products, and I used to work in a salon. Just because a product has a good brand name doesn't mean it's going to be a good product. I've tried a lot of different volumizing shampoos, different salon brands. They did the complete opposite of what they said they'd do and they were the right kind for my hair type. I've also tried some for dry hair and they just made my hair feel tacky.

If you don't want to try Pantene (some people think it's bad for your hair, but it really isn't, and it does not have wax in it, this is a common misconception and myth), go to Walmart or Target and get those little samples of shampoo and conditioner. This way it won't cost you a lot, and if it doesn't work for your hair, it won't be a huge waste of money.

Other brands I've used in the past that have worked good for the dryness are Finess, Pantene's Complete Moisture line, Loreal Pro Vive and Thermasilk. Unfortunately Thermasilk was the next best thing compared to the Relaed %26amp; Natural, and it's been discontinued.

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!
