Well, first of all, i would get a trim, to take out all of the split ends and some of hte damages on the ends, while you are there, you should ask the salon which products are the best for your hair to make it work better

First of all.. if your hair is really dry, get a hair cut and cut those bad ends. After that start using a really good conditioner.. I think panteen and garnier works great for my thin hair. Then you might want to try using this Biosilk serum. Put it on when your hair is wet. After doing all that when I use my straightner I see steam from my hair and that tells me that I conditioned my hair well. If you dont see steam then your just frying the ends of your hair.

let me guess ...you dont spray anything in your hair before you straiten it to protect it . that happened to my Friend and her hair looks kinda fried. But you should definitely buy TRESEMAE heat protector or ask a person at your local hair place!

because if you dont soon it might fall out

start using shampoon and conditioner for dry hair.

go to a salon and get a deep conditioning treatment.

**take a break for the the flat iron.**

wash, dry and flat iron your hair in the morning, then before you go to bed tie a bandana around your head to keep it flat and go to sleep. the next day don't wash or flat iron your hair. do that a few times a week and it will help. if your hair smells bad or builds up oil on your scalp just run some baby powder through it with your hands. not a lot of powder though, just enough to absorb any extra oil.

I'm not sure what kind of straightener you mean. If you mean like the perm straighteners you should get a hot oil treatment. If you mean from a flat iron then you can get flat iron spray at a beauty supply store that you spritz on your hair before you iron it. It helps the look hold and protects the hair from damage.

Seriously, cut as much as the dry damaged areas off, then condition weekly (use deep conditioner) Then get hair trimmed every 6/8 weeks until hair is back to normal.

First get a trim. Then apply a deep conditioner on damp hair and cover it with a warm towel for about 20 minutes. Do this a couple times a week. Find a good reconstructor conditioner to wrap your hair in. Try Paul Mitchell The Mask.

Also when you use your straightener don't use it without using a shine product with it. Shine products that are made for straight irons help to protect your hair from the heat.

There is plenty you can do! First off give your hair some TLC! A deep conditioning treatment would be very helpful... You can go to a salon for that or if you know a licensed stylist have them get a treatment for you... I like ones that require heat for a full penetration! When you shampoo your hair apply the conditioner and let it sit on your hair for 1-5 minutes at a time! Try to cut down on styling products because they contain alot of alcohol in them! Try to cut down on blow styling and the flat iron... Your hair needs repair! If anything let your hair air dry, apply a thermal protectant on your hair and then flat iron! Ive come across these issues alot when I was a hairstylist. Make sure to get a trim every month! On average hair grows 1/2 an inch per month! Try to cut down on ponytails to avoid breakage! Try washing hair everyother day instead of everyday to avoid washing away hairs natural emollient... I could go on and on giving you the lowdown on the structure of hair but I think you have some things to go off now!

Well straightening your hair by itself is very damaging to your hair. Put something on your hair to replenish moisture before you start straightening your hair(I recommend Biosilk or Thermasilk).

I used to straighten my hair everyday and it caused it to fall out and it was so short and dry all the time. Try to limit the days you straighten your hair and take special precautions when straightening it.
