Dry Hair.pls.help!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I think you should consider getting a Hot Oil treatment to bring some bounce and shine back... trim your ends... and choose a shampoo that won't dry out your hair...

if you have dye on your hair use a shampoo/ conditioner for chemically treated hair...

if you have sun damaged hair then use a shampoo/ conditioner for dry-sun damaged hair etc.

here's some shampoo/ conditioners that i've used and worked for me... (i usualy switch out shampoos/ conditioners so that my hair wont get used to it)

--- Dove (this made my hair feel light... and it made my hair shiny and smeelll sooo good)

--- Pantene Revitalize %26amp; Restoratives (2 different types of Pro-V...brought some kind of life back to my hair)

--- Loreal Vitamino expert (this is for color treated hair)

--- Biolage (for hair tratments... to maintain the life of your hair)

--- Paul Mitchell (good for keeping hair healthy)

those are just some shampoos/conditioner you may want to try...

goodluck

I have been using Sunsilk. My hair isn't dry but more wavy. I have found that their products work really well.

Personally I like to use Garnier. not only does it make you hair nice it makes it so much stronger. I sound like a commercial but it is sooooo true. What I do know for sure is that getting a good conditioner and letting it set in really well and washing it out is the best. Hope this helps.

Dry Hair.pls.help!!!!!!!!!!!!?

did u color u hair?or something else down with that?the best way which i used and got answer is to use conditioner which has wheat on it and let it be on ur hair for 5 minutes and slowly masag the hair (all of them) .the hot water makes hair dark so after u use that conditioner u have to wash ur hair with cold water and masag that as much as u can i hope u hair become shiny again !

Dry Hair.pls.help!!!!!!!!!!!!?

TRY PUTTING SOME CURD AND HONEY MIXTURE ON YOUR HAIR.

Dry Hair.pls.help!!!!!!!!!!!!?

i use pantene ice and it works really good for me. there's also silker that you put in when your hair is wet, or dry, and it protects from heat damage, and it makes it really shiny! there's also special kinds that are for your personal hair color. (i'm not sure about sunsilk conditioner~i've never tried it. sorry!)

Hi. It sounds like your hair is damaged. You should really evaluate your hair routine before and after it was damaged. Once you do that, then you can have an idea of what not to do to inflict any more damage to your hair.

There are some things you can do to improve your hair better. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont, depending on how damaged it is. If its extremely damaged, you may have to do a big chop to get rid of the damaged hair. But that is your choice. Here are some things you can do:

1. Dont wash your hair everyday. Wash it once or twice a week so that your hair wont feel dry and brittle. When you shampoo, only apply the shampoo to your scalp. Shampoo is very drying to hair. That is why you have to pick a good shampoo without the harsh chemicals. To me, brands like Pantene, Garnier, and Sunsilk have too much chemicals that dry out my hair. I only use them for detangling my hair and then wash it out.

3. Deep condition your hair once a week with heat. Keep doing this until your hair gets stronger, then only do it once a month. You have to find a good deep conditioner that will do the job and is good quality. There are some good ones online that are better than the ones at pharmacies and beauty salons. They are listed near the bottom.

4. Try not to comb and brush your hair often. Instead use your fingers. This will help to keep your hair from breaking if its weak.

5. As far as the shine goes, there is no way for you to get the shine back since the hair is too damaged. But while new healthy shiny hair comes back, you can use a gloss pomade to give that temporary shine. There are some on the market, but I use natural based ones that dont have that much alcohol and chemicals in it (you can look at them at www.curls.biz, www.honeyfig.com and naturallycurly.com)

6. Use natural based products in which you can read some of the ingredients. My rule is that if I cant read half or most of the ingredients, its not good for me. Sometimes the chemicals do more harm to your hair than good. If they have some chemicals, thats okay. Its better than all chemicals.

7. You should consider taking multivitamins and a separate vitamin for your hair, for example, GNC healthy hair skin and nails. Biotin is one of the vitamins needed to aid in healthy hair growth. WARNING: Dont get high dosage hair vitamins. Your body could only take so much and will flush the rest out, especially if you paid $30 for a bottle. Too many vitamins are not good for your body. Be careful. Also exercise and a healthier diet in vegetables and fruits can help in good hair growth. Oh, dont forget..drink lots of water.

8. Lastly, moisturize your hair!!!!!You need to do this since your hair is dry. There are some websites you can look at that have good moisturizing creams and leave in conditioners, which is what you need. Here are some product websites you could check out:

www.naturallycurly.com

www.curls.biz

www.urbanbella.net

www.honeyfig.com

www.jessicurl.com

www.curlicious.com

www.aubreyorganics.com

www.aveda.com

Some of these websites are for curly hair, but check them out anyway. You dont have to have curly hair in order to use them. Even if the product is geared towards a certain race group, research it anyway and try it. There is no discrimination to hair products as long as it works for you. If you find something good, stick with it. You will have to do more research based on your hair type if these websites are not what you need. But at least you have an idea of what to look for. Hope this helps somewhat. God bless.

Apply warm olive %26amp; castor oil mixed in equal amount %26amp; stirred rigorously to make homogeneous. Any shampoo with selenium sulphide is useful. Sunsilk too is ok. Eat home made triphala one teaspoon thrice a day. If taste is not tolerable, mix powdered roasted cummin seeds powder, lemon juice %26amp; a little salt to taste %26amp; dry in the sun %26amp; store in a bottle. Take that daily. Eat a lot of eggs, fish , green vegetables %26amp; fruits as much as u can.

While taking a bath dip a towel in a bucket of warm water %26amp; wrap around your head for ten minutes.

apply warm oil thrice a week, you can use olive or almond oil. use whichever shampoo you want to but just make sure you dont change them too often. among the given three i think you should use dove. also never apply conditioner on your scalp because it is only meant for the hair strands.

Pantene and sunsilk are not good options - both are harsh dtergent/ surfactant based shampoos.

Garnier - Fructis as well as Ultra Doux - is milder, and Dove is mild too. Dove has just launched its haircare range in India. If you're looking for a detergent-free shampoo, try Biotique.

Oiling your hair is useless, shampooing out the oil makes your hair even drier than before. Opt for a deep conditioning treatment instead - Garnier or Dove.

Keep your hair clean and well-moisturized - shampoo every 2 days and condition everytime you shampoo. If that's not enough, use a leave-in conditioner as well.

And of course, no blowdrying or colouring etc.
