Conditioning treatment for dry hair?

My hair is dark brown and was highlighted a few months ago now. I was going to get it highlighted again as the roots are bad, but am reluctant as it will make my hair dry. Anyone in a the same situation? What products do you use? I tell you ladies, the price we pay to look good lol :-)

I use bed head moisture maniac products. once or twice a week I put the conditioner in and leave it in for 10 minutes with my head wrapped in a towel and rinse. It makes my hair SO soft!

You could try the hydrating shampoo and conditioners from pureology or from herbal essences. ( i would personally go with the pureology, it has a pepperminty aroma that smells really good [and helps you breath when you have a stuffy nose!])

hope this helps =]

I dye my hair often and know what you mean about drying out. The best stuff I have found is Sunsilk Hydro TLC Shampoo and Conditioner(the pink bottle) and they also make a 24/7 creme (also pink bottle) that looks kinda like a lotion and after a shower just rub it into your hair and leave it in. Makes my hair soft and smooth and moistuized. It also helps with hair that sort of sticks out a few hairs here and there(hold hair together). They also make stuff for frizzy hair and oily hair. It costs around 4 bucks a bottle so the price is good too.

You should give Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo for dry damaged hair and 3 minute miracle reconstruction conditioner a go, its expensive(ish) but leaves your hair feeling glossy and looking healthy. Little tip - rinse your hair in cold water after washing coz it creates a better shine :o)

I had the same problem with a bad perm, after a few days of using Aussie i noticed the difference. And it smells fab mmm.

Good Luck x

I use Tresemme products, and leave the conditioner on for 5 minutes. Another good one is Miracle Moist (it's Australian, you can get it in Boots and supermarkets)

I have used several shampoos and conditioners on my clients, like Giovanni, which is okay; Aubrey's, which can be make the hair brittle; RedKen, which is pretty decent; and Burt Bees, which can dry the hair sometimes, but is organic. However, for dry hair, none of them compare ingredient wise or in their effectiveness to GodHead Vanilla Milkshake Silky Smooth Shampoo %26amp; Strawberry Pudding Conditioner. You find it online at www.discoverb4a.com.

Their hair care products rejuvenated my clients' hair, smelled great, and made their hair shiny, super moisturized, and vibrant. Their products are all-natural and do not contain any harsh chemicals or detergents that rob your hair of moisture. Plus, their products are made primarily aloe vera and essential oils. Aloe Vera does great on all hair for healing and infusing moisture in the hair strands. GodHead shampoos and conditioners also have essential oils in it that are specifically for circulating blood flow to your scalp to make the follicle healthier and the strands hydrated.
