I have really dry/damaged hair from straightening it so i want to know if theres a good hair?

shampoo/conditoner besides pantene and those brands because i heard those jsut dry out your hair more

OMG! i totally have the exact same problem! i striaghten my hair everyday!



well i use SAMY moisturizing shampoo and conditioner - its in the pink bottle



but i would just reccommend that u use paul mitchell moisturizing shampoo and conditioner because this is exposed to work really good!

i always use herbal essences and leave in the conditioner for a while. it works well on my dry hair

yeah, pantene does dry out your hair . You can try trimming the ends of your hair every month, so you get rid of all the dead ends and new hair will grow. OR try using a hair serum before every straightening . It really helps protect your hair from the heat, AND makes your hair really shiny.



Also use coconut oil ( you can get it at the supermarket) to replace your conditioner.



I also like Herbal Essences Hello Hydration collection , and sunsilk's cream.

I like Paul Mitchell brand and HALO. Halo products I have only seen in salons, on ebay and folica.com They used it where I last had my hair cut and it never looked smoother.

Nexxus has really good products for dry hair. Also even if you are not african american, there is a brand of shampoo called Motions you can use. My cousin is a beautician and buys Motions at Sallys. I also like Tresseme that's cheap-cheap.
