How do I blow dry my thich hair to make it nice and sleek?

I have more or less thick hair not massively thick. but i need to know how to dry it properly because everytime i try to blow dry my hair it goes really really fluffy and annoying.

My hair is naturally curly so that could be a problem aswell.

I just want it to be tame and normal

thanks!

I have a similar problem, my hair is always fluffy and hyperative and its always appear dry and lifless.

Don't use too much serum as it will make your hair greasy. Instead try washing your hair with Fructis Style shampoo and conditioner, or a sleek hair shampoo, condition for five minutes and leave in for half an hur once a month.

When you have washed it blow dry it while using a comb/tangling comb.

Straighten it downwars, be gentle and while it is still damp apply either a small amout of serum or just straighten till straight. If your hair wont tame, rub in a little hairspray into your hairs and rub it carefully through your hair, not too mcuh though as your hair might go rock hard.

Tip: Never use gel

or mousse, they both make your hair go stiff and unhealthy.

try using some straightening products and blow dry it downwards then use a straightner. I have wavy hair and it sucks but thats what i do evvvveryday.

Put in a straightening or smoothing serum in your hair while it is still damp. Then after blow drying, go over it with a flat iron. When it is done, use some more of the smoothing serum..

try towel dry or letting it dry on its own, if that doesn't help try blow drying on low mode, and keep combing it straight down while you're drying it. try using a straightener on the wild parts.

Ah.

I know the feeling...well in fact.

What I recommend is either products:

-Dove Silky Smooth Light Moisterizer

-Pantene Pro-V Anti-Frizz Creme

Both work really well but what I suggest, to keep your hair from looking like Simba's when he comes out from the water and gets a super puffy mane, is to blow dry your hair in layers. I normally use a round brush (If it has metal on it I suggest that one it conducts the heat better) and keep the blow dryer on Medium Heat on low and get close to the hair. Then just repeat with every layer and it should help have a straighter look that way when you run the straightener through your hair it won't be as difficult.

Best of luck dear,

xoxoxo

along with straightening product u can also use a blow drying brush while ur brushing a few strands of hair run the blowdryer along the side of the bush until that strand gets straight and move on to the next! if that doesnt work u may want to try a relaxer! good luck hun!
