help! my hair is dry,frizzy,thick,and puffy! i can't seem to find a good shampoo that works! any recommands? i'd really really really appreciate if someone who has been through this route before save me! my hair is a disaster.i tried yahoo search and all,but most of the products they recommand isn't in singapore! i'm from singapore btw(= and the sun is frying my hair!and i play sports! so i'm almost always under the sun! help anyone?)=

I really love the Frederic Fekkai haircare products available at Sephora or Nordstrom (I use the pink colored series). I have recommended it to friends who say nothing works on their hair and they loved it. It is a bit pricey, I buy the small shampoo ($19.50) and the large conditioner ($30) and they run out about the same time. I always have great hairdays when I use his products and bad hair days when I run out or buy something else to save money. Sephora takes back items like Nordstrom is you aren't happy with it or they will give you samples of it to try.

whoa singapore....i sssssoooooooooo recommend sun silk. my hair was fried so badly. and i do sports aswell (swimming) Sun Silk hydration... im pretty sure they have this product over there. but this really works try also to switch up shampoos every 6 months or so. ur hair gets used to a certain product and it wont work anylonger...my hairstylist told me this. Products are only going to solve half the problems you listed. Get you hair treated for the frizzy and poofiness. Yeah, i've been through pretty much the same thing, im from the Philippines. I got my hair "rebonded" which is hot ironing with some formula (salon only), it becamse straigter, smoother, and absorbed moisture much better then when my hair was curly.

Do you have "Pantene" products in singapore, or sunsilk? all they really focus on is either straigtening hair, soft hair, or glossy hair, and they work really well.

what type of hair do you have. I can't reccommend a product if I don't know your texture. I would be a sight if you had silky straight. Kinky hair would be understandable also course hair. It sounds like you need a good conditioner and a hot oil treatment to begin with. Once your scalp is moisturized and nourished the managability will improve. I'm african american and I use cream of nature shampoo since it has things in it tailored to the kinky hair queens.

I really enjoy Sunsilks Frizz control shampoo and conditioner its really affordable chances of finding it in singapore im not sure cause i never been there but online stores more then likely have it and on top of that I would try a frizz serum, to go on before and after u blow dry ur hair. Also straighting my hair does wonders keeping the unwanted waves and frizz down :) with a short spritz of hairspray like Aussie after words.

You should get your hair trimmed first and then continue to have it trimmed regularly to remove the damaged parts (frizzy generally equals damaged). When you're outside try to wear a cap and pull your hair back into a ponytail or a braid. Use leave in conditioner in your hair before you pull it back so that the heat from the sun and your body's own heat will help the conditioner soak in.

Try "Pantene Pro-V Restoratives" shampoo which claims to "help restore up to 2 years of damage in 1 month". It really is a good product (they have a conditioner too) and remember, you can always buy from a reputable person online (Ebay or, in my opinion, Amazon.com is even better). If possible don't use hot water on your hair as this definitely puffs it up. Use cool water (I do my final rinse with quite cold water!). With playing sports, the salt from persperation and the hot sun don't do your hair any favors either - If you can find a spray with sunblock in it that would be great. If your hair isn't too oily, rinse it in clear water every day and only shampoo every other day and if your hair is too "thick" use thinning shears (just a little bit) or have your hairstylist do it for you.
