my best answer would be is that you wash it now and then and condition it more and it will grow out believe me my cousin is in her 50s and she still has her long baby hair not even a gray in site!

I agree about Biolage. I had a hairdresser actually ruin my hair with a perm several years ago and they had me come back for free hair treatments and that's what they used. They also gave me a free supply of the regular stuff you buy at the store.

Suave actually has a very good knock-off of the product. You can try that.

Leave-in conditioner. Aussie makes the best shampoo and conditioners.

I would go easy on your hair, no blow-drying.. let it go. During the summer I never touch my hair and by not touching it it would just be naturally really nice and healthy. Sometimes blow-drying is ok but not everyday... when I went the entire summer without touching my hair it was so great and shiny. Now that I blow dry it more often for school it's a tad drier..not bad at all though because I use conditioner.

I had naturally curly hair and got it straightened as well. A lot of the hair broke and I hated it. Get some Castor Oil and massage it into ur scalp and through you hair. Sleep with it in your hair. If you rub it in well and let it sit for a while... while you clean up after dinner and such it shouldn't get all over your pillow because it absorbs well and is thick. Do this once or twice a week.

Get a good quality hydrating shampoo, but don't wash your hair everyday because it is drying... Try Aubrey Island Naturals. A nice conditioner is made by LUSH called Jungle.

Another thing you can do is take an oil supplement. I used evening primrose oil.

Good luck!!!
